Dr. Josh Newman’s journey into dentistry was a natural progression influenced by a family deeply rooted in oral healthcare. Growing up surrounded by dental professionals—both parents, a grandfather who practiced general dentistry, and several aunts in dental hygiene—Dr. Newman was immersed in the field from an early age. Despite briefly exploring Exercise Science during college, his path crystallized when he began shadowing his father in dental offices. Witnessing the transformative impact of dental care on patients’ lives—whether through restoring smiles or alleviating pain—solidified his passion for dentistry. Dr. Newman was drawn to the technical challenges and the dynamic nature of the profession, including its integration with advancing technologies.
